Well-Lining-web5

Water well problems can arise from a variety of causes including equipment failure, depletion of the aquifer, corrosive qualities of the water and improper well design and construction. Correctly identifying the cause enables you to select appropriate option to fix the problem rather than abandon the well.

By installing a 4 inch PVC well liner, you can block out any cracks, bad water seams, or poorly installed drive shoes to correct your water quality. Common reasons for well screening or lining a well include:

Improper well design or construction

Insufficient well development after construction

Continuous over-pumping of well

Corrosion of well casing, liner or screen causing holes

Failure to seat drive shoe properly

The Water Shed can assess your well and advise on whether this is the right choice for your well.
